She says: “New ideas come from my children, my childhood and my love of nature. Sometimes I will develop an idea over a few pieces, other times I will create a piece as a one off. Often an idea will pop into my head for no reason whatsoever. I have pens and paper everywhere so I can write them down. I never struggle for ideas...just the time to paint them! I have been lucky to be able to make a career of it. I didn’t really make a decision to be an artist, have always painted and it has grown over the years.
