With this new pair of figurative images, Fabian Perez invites us to experience the intoxicating atmosphere of Buenos Aires through the characters that inhabit its exotic nightscape. While sensuality and intensity are key, there is also a sophistication and intelligence to his shadowy figures which implies something beyond the purely visual. Bold and intense, these images offer us an insight into the hidden depths of their subjects; the charismatic man and seductive woman seem to be part of a wider narrative, one which embraces mystery, eroticism and drama.
