Maya New collection from the studio
19/04/2022
Living and working in Canada, Maya has gained an international reputation for her evocative forest scenes, florals and seascapes. Her distinctive technique combines impasto oil painting and etching, and while building up each composition over a protracted period of time she draws on a mesmerising vocabulary of texture and nuance. Alongside a series of original works, she has released a trio of forest scenes as signed limited editions of just 95. Her painterly style and rich Mediterranean-inspired palette render each work a bold and beautiful contemporary statement.
