It is 20 years since Banksy’s iconic ‘Girl with Balloon’ made her first appearance on the wall under Waterloo Bridge accompanied by the words “there is always hope.” With his new limited edition ‘Hold onto Hope’, Mr Brainwash revisits this wistful character in a touching and heartfelt message of hope for our time. The strong connection between Mr Brainwash and Banksy was documented in Banksy’s Oscar-nominated film about the meteoric rise of the larger-than-life street artist. Now a global star in his own right, Mr Brainwash still chooses to reference Banksy in his work, paying tribute to his amazing contribution to the street art revolution.
