Tom’s new pieces are shimmering show-stoppers - two iconic scenes built around the river and using its water to reflect the landmarks around it to stunning effect. Once again Tom has raided the world around him and transformed the everyday trappings of life into something beautiful through collage. A kitchen worktop from a catalogue becomes the top of a building, a computer advert is the side of a boat – like the city he is representing, these works are crammed with ideas, incidents, energy and life, and give us a completely new take on something we thought we knew.
